HISTORY:  Larry Polla, Founder and CEO of  CINEMASMARTS! (a Division of PollaVision, Inc.) entered the cinema industry in 1978 as a cinema Manager and Projectionist. In 1985 Larry formed Hi-Tech Theater Equipment. This company designed and manufactured a line of robust line theater electronics. These automations allow one projectionist to operate several auditoriums without the audience experience being compromised. With the introduction of digital technology to the cinema the need for these projectionist to thead the projector and run scheduled shows has been eliminated. CINEMASMARTS! was designed to fill the gap of not having a projectionist and theater management. All of the beginning and end of day tasks can be performed from the managers office, box office or remotely  from any smartphone or PDA. This system is designed to have every control function along with feedback from the server, projector and automation systems as you were operating the auditorium while standing at the projector.  Faults can be sent directly from the auditorium automation directly to the remote monitoring stations. Actions and commands from the Theater staff can also be sent directly to the specific auditorium that you desire to control.
